Woodge System Update 24.06
Woodge System Update 24.06 includes several improvements, such as enhanced dashboard task management with filtering options and task update emails containing rich information. Additional updates include improved issue list filtering, constrained CSV imports, default address settings, saved search states, and enhanced drag-and-drop functionality for order line items.
Dashboard Task Improvements
The initial view of the dashboard shows all open tasks assigned to the employee. You can view all tasks including complete ones by clicking the "Tasks" button and then selecting "All My Tasks".
You can also quickly filter the shown tasks typing in the quick search. You can filter by any text in the task description, order name or number, or any other information shown.
If a task has been automatically created when a order enters a particular status, then this is now shown in the created by column.

As tasks in the Woodge system can be attached to a Client, Order or Issue, then you can navigate directly to this by clicking the button in the Project column.
You can also see task that you have created by going to "Tasks" then clicking "Tasks I've Created". This view will show tasks that you have created and assigned to other employees.
It's also possible to @mention from any of the task views if you quickly want to bring someone into the conversation. Any mentioned users, the creator and the person the task is assigned to will receive a notification email.
Task update emails now contain more rich information about the task including icons for the task type and status.
Issue List Improvements
The issue list now includes who the issue was raised by.
It's also possible to filter the list by this field.
Product CSV Importing
When importing order line items from a CSV, the user is now constrained to ensure that they only import a CVS file.
Previously if multiple processed where processed on the same order simultaneously unexpected results could occur. To prevent this now when an import is being processed on the server the order temporarily enters the status "Processing". While in this status the order is locked and another import cannot be started.
Default Address Country
When creating an address the country will now default to "GB-United Kingdom".
This can be changed by modifying the preference "DefaultAddressCountry" in the system settings.
State is Now Saved When Searching or Filtering
If you perform a search from the "Active Order List".
When going into the order details and back to the list again the previous search is saved making navigation easier.
The same applies to the Issue List. If any filters are applied to the list, then these will be restored when going back to the list again.
The same behaviour is applied to the Client List. You can clear a search by clicking the x in the search box.
Order Line Item Drag and Drop Improvements
When reordering a line item by dragging and dropping the system will now ask you to confirm the action before committing the change.
After you have released the the mouse when dragging and dropping the view will update to show the new line numbering. A dialogue box will ask to confirm if you want to update the line number. If you click cancel, the action will be reset and the line numbering will revert to the state before the action.
The 'Edit Components' window now allows the line number and sub-line number to be modified manually if necessary. It is also no possible to refresh the Article IDs fro a single line item rather than a whole order.
If you choose to update the Article ID's the the product, parts and components references will be updated to match the current line number.
Updating Article IDs is now significantly faster. If another user is modifying one of the records on the same line item then a error is shown and none of the records are updated.
When lines are reordered or article ids are updated this is now tracked in the activity log for the order
