Woodge System Update 24.10

We are pleased to announce Woodge System Update 24.10, bringing significant enhancements to improve your workflow and user experience. The Cabinet Visualiser now enables you to save custom rendered images for printed paperwork, while also offering greater flexibility in displayed elements and labeled dimension guides. Adding multiple parts is more flexible, while Issue Update Emails feature intuitive icons and colours to improve clarity. Schedule Milestones have enhanced control and visibility, and Line Item Report Links allow up to six customisable reports directly from line items. Additionally, client data entry is streamlined with spell check and copy-paste support. These updates deliver greater precision, efficiency, and ease of use across your projects.

Cabinet Visualiser Improvements

The Cabinet Visualiser has been enhanced, allowing you to hide the element list, guides, and axis for a clearer and more focused view.

The dimension guides have been enhanced with labels that specify their corresponding apertures or dimensions, making the information clearer and easier to understand.

It is now possible to save rendered images from the Cabinet Visualiser. Simply click the ‘Save Image’ button, name your render, and it will be stored as a Product Custom Value. This image can then be used use in printed paperwork.

Clicking the 'View Render' will open card window showing all the saved images of the product.

These Custom Values can then be displayed on manufacture paperwork.

Adding Part Improvement

You can now add the same part multiple times to a product in a single step, allowing each instance to have identical or different dimensions.

Issue Update Email Improvements

Issue Update email notifications have been enhanced with icons and background colours for Status, Resolution, and Type that match the Woodge system, making relevant updates more clearly highlighted.

It now includes only the three most recent screenshots in Issue Update emails when multiple are present. This reduces email size and ensures successful delivery by avoiding oversized attachments.

Schedule Milestone Improvements

It is now possible to reset Order Milestones and Manufacture Processes individually, allowing you to adjust milestones from their original dates without automatic resets.

It is now possible to view the Milestones on an order by going to the Manufacture table on an Order. There is now three buttons to show Processes, Departments and Milestones.

Clicking on the Milestone name will open up a card window showing you all of the processes that are associated with that Milestone.

Line Item Report Links

It is now possible to configure up-to six Manufacture Reports that can be launched from a Line Item. The report can be used to show just the record for a particular line item.

The reports can be accessed from the cog on the far right of the Line Items layout.

The Button Text, Script Name and Script Parameter can be configured from the preferences area in settings. This allow any report to be run.

Client Data Fields

Client data fields now support spell check and copy-pasting, making data entry faster and more accurate..

QR Code Printing Imporvements

QR codes are now pre-generated when a Line Item is created. This ensures that the images are always correctly printed on all types of printer.
