Woodge System Update 24.11

The Woodge System Update 24.11 introduces key enhancements to streamline user experience. The Manufacture View Launcher now allows reports to be run from orders in any status, enabling re-creation of paperwork for completed orders and generation of reports for upcoming orders in planning. Users can set default order statuses filter via the ‘ManufactureViewStatusUUID’ preference and easily reset filters. Improvements to the Employee List include sorting by first name, last name, or department, with better performance and default exclusion of archived employees. Additionally, the update enables automatic generation of product drawings from the cabinet visualiser, simplifying the creation of front and side views of cabinets.

Manufacture View Launcher Improvements

The Manufacture View Launcher now allows reports to be run from orders in any status. This allows paperwork to be re-created for completed orders, or for reports to be created for upcoming order in Planning before entering Manufacture.

The default Order Status that are selected can by set by the Preference ‘ManufactureViewStatusUUID’. 

If a change is made to the filtered statues’s the button highlights in dark blue and the text changes to remind user know that a change has been made. The filter can be reset by clicking the ‘X’.

If cultist weeks are used, it is now possible to quickly filter by the week number or letter of the list (eg. A, B, C etc). 

It is also now possible to clear the selected order by clicking the ‘X’ in the top right of the window. Making it easier to work with large lists of orders.

Employee List Improvements

The Employee list now offers the functionality to choose to sort by First Name, Last Name or Department. The performance of this layout has also been improved making it easier than ever to manage large numbers of users on the system.

By default the system will now exclude Archived employee, but it easy to toggle this back on to view non active employees in your system.

Generate Product Drawings

It’s now possible to generate drawings of a product from your catalogue automatically. When viewing a product from the cabinet visualiser, switch to ‘Plan’ view, the click ‘Generate Drawings’ from the bottom right.

The system will then automatically generate a front and side view of the cabinet and save these as Custom Variables on the product. This makes it quick and easy to automatically generate drawings.

System Start Improvements

Previously when accessing the Woodge system the main window would briefly disappear when starting up, which could be confusing for users. This no longer happens and the startup speed has been improved.
